Andrew and Nicci find themselves at odds, presenting Andrew with a difficult choice.

Andrew wavers, finding himself at odds with Nicci. With their relationship under pressure, Nicci turns to a surprising place for help. Meanwhile, Katie is torn between her parents.

Samantha checks on Marnie before her ward rounds. There’s palpable tension. She works her way round the ward, caring for each patient and looking out for a junior doctor. Later that morning, she attends an ethics committee meeting to make a key decision: is it in Marnie’s best interests to continue treatment or not?
