Set 1,300 years after dragons have returned to the Hidden World, the story takes place in modern-day, where dragons are things of fantasy, myth, and legend. After a great tectonic event causes a massive fissure in a remote section of the earth, a group of kids living with their scientist parents on a research lab near the fissure make a discovery - that dragons are real… and they're back.
