Today, Paul Simonon of The Clash joins Mark and Stuart to share his 'First, Last and Everything' - that’s the first record he owned, the most recent one he’s enjoyed and the record that means ‘everything’ to him.

Paul Simonon is best known for being the bassist of legendary punk band The Clash in the late 1970's and 1980's. He went on to form Havana 3am and play alongside Blur’s Damon Albarn in the band Gorillaz. Simonon and Albarn also formed their own supergroup The Good, The Bad and The Queen with Simon Tong of the Verve and drummer Tony Allen. 

Paul’s new project is a collaboration with singer-songwriter Galen Ayers, daughter of the musician Kevin Ayers. Their new album ‘Can We Do Tomorrow Another Day’ is collection of bilingual duets exploring European music cultures. Paul shares his musical enthusiasms and tells us about the collaboration and album.
