Liverpool is hosting, as the war in Ukraine means last year's winners are not able to.

Liverpool is hosting the Eurovision Song Contest, as the war in Ukraine means last year's winners are not able to. Ukrainians who have travelled tell us about the atmosphere and what the competition means to them. 

Daniel Penny, a former US Marine has turned himself into authorities and will be charged with manslaughter after he placed a fellow passenger in a fatal chokehold on the New York subway.
