Exploring Ulster-Scots links with famous frontiersmen, tunes from the Ballymoney Tattoo, a little bit of postal history in Gracehill and keeping the yarns fresh in Dervock.  

David Crockett, was known as the “King of the wild frontier”, but how strong are his Ulster-Scots connections, and what about his frontier friend – Sam Houston?  Dr David Hume joins the chat to tell us more about another two movers and shakers in the story of the United States.
Not long after the battle at the Alamo, a postcard was sent from New York to Gracehill – though the real excitement is about its stamp.
Rab Lennox reports on the successful Ballymoney Tattoo, and Jonnie Crawford hears how Dervock’s community are keeping the yarns fresh.
