Nigel Havers presides as members of the public with interesting items to sell come face to face with five dealers who bid against each other to try to bag themselves a bargain.

Before facing the dealers, each seller has their item valued by auctioneer Simon Bower. Simon also gives them top tips on the history and key characteristics of their piece, so that when they enter the bidding room, they have all the information they need to try to haggle the best possible price from the dealers.

All the dealers are spending their own money but have no idea what the sellers have brought in.

Nigel Havers hosts as five dealers battle each other to buy items brought in by the public, including a model plane, a transforming table and a ride-on whale.

Nigel Havers welcomes five more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.

First through the doors is Caspian and his mum Fiona with a model plane they hope will fly high in the Bidding Room, but are they right?

Arriving next is Beverley and a nifty portable kit for all your picnic needs. Her foldable dining set is functional and fun, but will the dealers fight for it?

Next up is Angie with a quirky item she hopes will make a killing with the dealers. Her funfair orca whale gets everyone’s attention, but which of our buyers will bite?

Fourth into the Bidding Room today is Anna, hoping to draw herself a great deal with her box of treats. Her draughtsman’s set was a car boot find, so can she haggle herself a healthy profit?

Last in is Jack with a fun piece that’ll make you taller. His set of stilts has everyone interested, but who will step up and spend?
