The US is asking South Korea not to fill China chip market gap

The US has asked South Korea to urge its chipmakers not to fill any market gap to support its policy on semi-conductor chip manufacture.

President Yoon Suk YeolI is visiting Washington this week and is expected to discuss the issue with President Biden amid tensions with China.
