A song from the Wailin’ Jennys that touches the heart, welcoming a rapper with bagpipes, newly refreshed stories from Sam Henry and the story of a 1933 Wolseley Hornet Special. 

Helen Mark meets Colin Urwin to hear about local stories to rival the tales of the Brothers Grimm – all collected decades ago by Sam Henry and about to be launched in a new volume. Tabitha Benedict introduces us to a song that touches her heart – The Old Churchyard as sung by bluegrass trio The Wailin’ Jennys.  In a completely different part of the musical world – the fusion of hip hop and bagpipes - Ross Ainsley tells Rab Lennox how he welcomed the rapper Snoop Dogg at the airport.  Willie Hill’s been to visit Peter Pollock and his 90 year old car – and he’s been muttering about a donkey under the bonnet ever since…
