With extremely limited football coverage over the weekend, was the BBC right to take Gary Lineker off air?
BBC News understands that talks to resolve the row between the corporation and Gary Lineker are 'moving in the right direction'.  He was suspended from Match of the Day for criticising the government's asylum policy and comparing ministers' language to that used by Germany in the 1930s.
Last night the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the issues should be resolved by the BBC, as a second day of scheduling issues affected television shows.
The BBC's Director General Tim Davie says he's in 'listening mode'.
