Jo premieres brand new music from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and has the Thursday Theme: songs relating to weather!

Jo has the exclusive first play of new music from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Having formed in 2010 after the split of Oasis, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will return with their fourth album in June.

This week's Thursday Theme is songs relating to weather, to mark World Meteorological Day. 

World Meteorological day celebrates the founding of the World Meteorological Organisation on this day in 1950. The WMO tracks global weather, climate and water patterns, allowing us to predict and prepare for extreme circumstances. This year is a particularly special birthday, as it will also be 150 years since the founding of the WMO’s predecessor, the International Meteorological Organisation.

To celebrate World Meteorological day, Jo will be playing half an hour of your favourite tracks relating to any form of weather! From hurricanes and raining men to rainbows and walking on sunshine, if you've got a weather related song to add to the mix, send it to jo.whiley@bbc.co.uk.
