Former BBC correspondent Martin Patience tells Janice about his debut novel, a thriller called The Darker the Night, plus the creator and writer behind the TV series Luther.

Janice will hear from some well known Scottish stars who share their memories to mark the centenary of the BBC in Scotland 

We hear about the first film adaptation of hugely popular BBC detective drama Luther starring Idris Elba from writer and creator Neil Cross and director Jamie Payne 

Former BBC correspondent Martin Patience tells Janice about his debut novel, a thriller, The Darker the Night. 

Janice will also hear from South African dancer and choreographer Dada Masilo about her new work The Sacrifice which is being performed at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre this month.
