Stories of strong Ulster-Scots lassies for International Women’s Day.

For International Women’s Day, the lassies bringing an Ulster-Scots dimension to the media, helping band members through hard times, and the hairt-sang of a traditional musician. 

It’s all about the lassies this week as Helen Mark and Jonnie Crawford meet Laura McConnell and Jane Rea who are helping their Ulster-Scots communities tell their stories on the small screen.
Rab Lennox has a yarn with Alicia Dickson-Hamilton and Lindsay Ferguson about the Light of Foot charity’s mental health work among local bands and its expansion into Scotland.  
Chloe McGreggor has a song to share that warms her heart.
