Quartet Malamatina joins Jamie in the Classics studio to perform live.

Quartet Malamatina joins Jamie in the Classics studio to perform live. Plus a My Music from start pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason.

Quartet Malamatina was formed at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and these four guitarists join Jamie to perform live ahead of tours and recordings in the UK and Canada later this year.  Plus star pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason shares a significant personal piece in this week’s My Music and Jamie’s Album of the Week comes from the powerhouse duo of Vilde Frang and Pekka Kuusisto exploring the violin concertos of Beethoven and Stravinsky.
