Known for his work with the likes of Old Blind Dogs, Salsa Celtica and Capercaillie, Fraser Fifield is surely one of Scotland's most creative musicians. He currently holds the post of Traditional Artist in Residence at Edinburgh University and as part of that he’s hosting a concert in Edinburgh this weekend with pianist Dave Milligan.

The concert, which is free to attend, is a reimagination of the Eliza Ross Manuscript. Thought to be the earliest manuscript collection of Highland music, dating from 1812, it contains 100 vocal airs and 50 instrumental slow airs or dance tunes. Anna catches up with Fraser and Dave mid-rehearsals for a sneak preview of "The Eliza Ross Manuscript: Reimagined".
