Munich security conference gets under way without Russia

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz says it's wise to prepare for a long war.

The annual Munich Security Conference has begun just days before the first anniversary of Russia's invasion. At the conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz hinted Germany will soon be able to deploy its first Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

We'll also hear how some of the biggest names in tech will face some of the strictest rules in the world on protecting users privacy.
