The Poles Revealed is a science documentary series about the two extreme ends of the Earth. Taking viewers on a journey of discovery above and below the ice, this is a program that is as breathtakingly beautiful, as it is informative and entertaining. 

Many people imagine the Arctic and Antarctic to be much the same – white, barren icescapes of extreme cold. These programmes reveal just how different these landscapes are. The Arctic is an ocean, surrounded by continents, while the Antarctic is a continent surrounded by ocean. As auroras light up the sky, a mystery that has puzzled humankind for years is finally solved.
