Duncan Chisholm joins Anna live to chat about his highly anticipated new album, Black Cuillin. Plus fiddler and Young Trad Champion for 2022, Eryn Rae, is in session.

The highly anticipated new album from Duncan Chisholm ‘Black Cuillin’ draws its inspiration from the mountain wilderness on the Isle of Skye. Richly evocative, ‘Black Cuillin’ tells of a dream journey through this landscape over a day and a night - this is truly the music of the high mountains, the music of the skies and the stars. Duncan joins Anna live, sharing music from the album and insight into its creation. 

Hailing from the Borders, fiddler Eryn Rae was crowned the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year for 2022. Eryn joins Anna in session and reflects on her year as reigning champion.
