Jamie T continues his series as 6 Music's Artist In Residence by picking an hour of his favourite live music ever recorded. Featuring concert recordings from The Clash and Sinéad O'Connor plus sessions from The Beautiful South and The Maccabees, as well as much more. Between tracks Jamie reminisces about his first ever gig, discusses what it's like to perform live in session for the BBC and reminisces about sharing a festival stage with The Specials.

Presenting his first ever radio shows for this series on BBC Radio 6 Music, Jamie began his career playing his acoustic bass guitar around Wimbledon in the 2000s. He released his first album, Panic Prevention, in 2007, and quickly gained widespread popularity and acclaim thanks to tracks like If You've Got The Money, Sheila and Calm Down Dearest. In 2022 he released his fifth record, The Theory Of Whatever, and it proved his longevity by the record becoming his first to top the UK Albums Chart. He also headlined Glastonbury's John Peel Stage in June and went on the road in November for an 11-date sold out UK tour.

This programme was recorded before the sad passing of Terry Hall of The Specials.
