Scottish novelist Andrew O'Hagan joins Nicola Meighan to share the soundtrack of his life.

Scottish novelist Andrew O'Hagan joins Nicola Meighan to discuss the record that reminds him of childhood, the track he wishes he'd written and other songs in the key of his life.

Nicola is joined by Scottish novelist Andrew O'Hagan to hear about the songs which take him back to his childhood and first gig, the song he can't help singing along to and the song he wishes he'd written.  Andrews shares stories about his writing which include his Booker Prize nominated novels Our Fathers, Be Near Me and The Illuminations and discusses his latest novel Mayflies, which has been adapted for BBC television and follows a friendship forged between two teenagers in a Scottish Ayrshire town in the 1980's which is tested as adults thirty years later.
