This year there will be no Christmas Day Top of the Pops, so broadcaster Stuart Cosgrove will join Janice to discuss  the history of pop music programmes on TV from the early days of Top of the Pops and Channel 4’s The Tube to Later… With Jools Holland.

Our Christmas advent item will feature the Aberdeen Arts Centre production of Cinderella

And keeping the Christmas theme, Anna Campbell Jones and Banjo Beale from Scotland’s Home Of The Year Christmas Special will chat about their search for the home with the most festive flare and seasonal spirit.

And from the My Fair Lady touring production, former Eastenders star, Adam Woodyatt, Scottish actress Heather Jackson and soprano Lesley Garrett will drop by for a spot of Christmas cheer.

And The Afternoon Show Single of the Week will be revealed.
