Grime star and chef Big Zuu returns to his west London roots to meet with comedian and presenter Mel Giedroyc. Mel is in town researching her debut novel and has fond memories of a local restaurant that served south Indian specialities, masala dosas. It’s a new taste for Zuu and the boys but one they’re quick to add to the repertoire of recipes.
As a previous host of Great British Bake Off, it’s no surprise that Mel loves nothing more than eating a picnic, so Zuu prepares his own twist on the classic outdoor feast, complete with scotch eggs, falafel and Lebanese pizza. Finally, in a nod to her east European roots, Zuu attempts to impress Mel with a traditional Polish sponge.
Making a cake for one of the Bake Off’s original stars is a huge gamble – can Zuu pull it off? Show less
