Anna speaks to Somhairle MacDonald about his new solo exhibition & 20 years of making imagery for the Scottish music scene plus we reveal this month's Official Folk Album Chart.

Somhairle MacDonald is a Glasgow based multimedia artist and musician from the Scottish Highlands. A founding member of ethno-funk pioneers Croft Nº 5, he has been part of the wallpaper of the Scottish music scene for over 20 years and has designed 100+ album covers, taken countless photographs and worked on a variety of music videos, documentaries and audio visual commissions. In addition to his design work, Somhairle is also an accomplished and prolific landscape artist and throughout December his solo showcase “à laimh shomhairle” (from Somhairlie's hand) will be at the Tolbooth in Stirling. Somhairle joins Anna live to talk about the exhibition and reflect on 20 years of making imagery for the Scottish music scene.
