Janice Forsyth talks to actor Martin Compston about his role in the BBC drama Mayflies.

Janice Forsyth is joined by actors Martin Compston and Rian Gordon to talk about their roles in the screen adaptation of Andrew O’Hagan’s book Mayflies, which will be on the BBC between Christmas and New Year. 

She’ll also be speaking to comedian Jason Manford about his dance remix of hymns we used to sing in school assemblies which is a contender for the Christmas number one single. 

Guest reviewers Anita Markoff and Hannah McGill review the feature film retelling of the extraordinary true story of The Silent Twins, two sisters in Wales who communicated only with each other. 

Architect and novelist David F Ross talks to Janice about his latest book, Dashboard Elvis Is Dead. 

And Janice will be introducing us to the artists behind our new single of the week.
