Award-winning British writer, broadcaster and journalist Danny Robins discussed his latest hit podcast The Witch Farm, and the dark forces that may or may not exist around us.

For any woman experiencing domestic abuse, it can be incredibly difficult to find the courage to leave the situation they find themselves in. But often for Black, Asian and minority ethnic women, there are specific challenges. As the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on Friday marked the start of 16 Days of Activism on the issue, Connie is joined by Dr Elaine McLaughlin from Hemat Gryffe, Scotland’s first Black, Asian and minority ethnic Women’s Aid charity, and Shakti’s CEO Girijamba Polubothu to discuss the challenges facing women from marginalised communities as regards domestic abuse.

Elon Musk’s take-over of Twitter has signalled the potential threat of an impending collapse for the social media platform. But do changes to the twitterverse present the opportunity to look closer at how our morals and integrity align with our online presence? And what role does social media play in our modern lives? Twitter user Halina Rifai and Dr Clare Llewellyn, Lecture in Governance, Technology, and Data at Edinburgh University discuss.

The World Cup in Qatar is the first time the tournament has been held in an Islamic country. It has also undoubtedly been one of the most controversial sporting events in the tournament’s history but how has the commentary landed with those from a Qatari heritage? Connie discusses the issues with Khalifa Al Haroon, one of Qatar’s most popular influencers.

So what does it take to redeem your character? What does forgiveness and redemption, mean to different people, and who decides if we can have either, or both? Connie explores this with prison chaplain Rev Jill Clancy and Marina Cantacuzino, author of ‘Forgiveness: An Exploration’ and founder of The Forgiveness Project.

She joins Connie to discuss what they tell us about lessons learned.
