Rachel Joyce writer of 'Harold Fry and the Unlikely Pilgrimage' talks to Janice about her new novel focusing on Maureen, Harold's wife, 'Maureen Fry and The Angel of the North'

Janice hears from Rachel Joyce, best-selling author of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry about her latest novel 'Maureen Fry and The Angel of the North', based on a journey that Harold’s wife Maureen embarked on 10 years after Harold’s pilgrimage.

We hear from Wigtown bookshop owner, writer and director Jessica Fox about her film, Stella, which was made in Scotland during the pandemic and on a small budget and last month, won best drama at the Tel Aviv International Film Festival. 

There is live music from rapidly rising star, Dylan John Thomas who recently won Breakthrough Artist award at the Scottish Music Awards   

Our Tuesday Reviewers, Stuart Cosgrove and Catherine Simpson share their thoughts on the BBC 2 series, Louis Theroux Interviews, the Netflix period drama film The Wonder adapted from Emma Donoghue’s book.
