The football world cup starts this weekend in Qatar. The Gulf state has been criticised for its stance on same-sex relationships and human rights. Rod Stewart has said he’s turned down an offer to perform there. Joe Lycett has issued David Beckham with an ultimatum about his ambassadorial role - If he gives it up, the comedian says he'll donate ten thousand pounds to charities which support gay footballers. If he doesn't, the comedian says he'll live stream himself shredding the money. Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter says the decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar was a 'mistake'.
