A 25% rise in the demand for food parcels, ever-escalating energy costs and a state without a government. After 12 austere years, will it get even worse after Tuesday's budget? 

The Trussell Trust says demand for food parcels has increased by a quarter this year. Energy costs remain sky-high and a recession may be inevitable? Are there any quick answers to easing the burden?
