Nicola talks about new book Love and Let Die with cultural writer John Higgs, which reflects on six decades of Bond and the Beatles, and the opposing values they presented the 60s generation. 

Nicola is in conversation with playwright May Sumbwanyambe and actor Omar Austin, hearing about new National Theatre of Scotland production Enough of Him, about Joseph Knight, the first man to win his freedom in a Scottish Court of law.

Nicola is joined by the winner of the Scottish Album of the Year Award Fergus McCreadie and podcaster and broadcaster Halina Rifai, who discuss the place the Award has in the Scottish music scene, in supporting emerging artists and more diverse talent. 

We hear about Scottish tour of Downs with Love, a play which tells the story of Beth, a young woman who has Down’s Syndrome who finds herself caught up in a difficult love triangle, from actor Abigail Brydon, who has Down's Syndrome and leads a non-disabled cast, and Suzanne Lofthus, who wrote and directs the play
