Today, Los Angeles based vocalist and composer Lady Blackbird (AKA Marley Munroe) joins Mark to share her 'First, Last and Everything' - that’s the first record she owned, the most recent one she has enjoyed and the record that means ‘everything’ to her. 

After making a name for herself on the Jazz scene for a number of years, her highly anticipated debut album ‘Black Acid Soul’ came out last year, with critics comparing her to Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Grace Jones and Chaka Khan. Her songs have been remixed by the likes of Emma-Jean Thackray, Ashley Beedle, Bruise and Greg Foat.

Also on the show... long-running feature ‘The Chain’ which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last.  The list now contains over 8000 songs.

With a selection of music old and new to get the weekend started.
