Former doctor-turned writer Simon Stephenson tells Gordon about his new thriller, Sometimes People Die.  

We hear from Claire Jackson, the Senior Curator at Tramway, about painter Norman Gilbert’s first ever solo exhibition, documenting 50 years of his work depicting the lives of his wife, family and neighbours, in the Southside of Glasgow.  

Film critics Anna Smith and Paul Gallagher take us through their three picks of the week: Three Thousand Years of Longing, The Forgiven, and the 40th anniversary of E.T.
