The US has banned companies that receive federal funding from building "tech" in China

The United States has imposed a ban on companies that receive federal funding  from building "advanced technology" facilities in China for 10 years.

It comes as business groups have pushed for more government support in an effort to reduce reliance on China.

Europe’s rivers are at historically low levels due to drought, which means inland barges are carrying much less cargo at higher prices.
