The Big Green Money Show

Emergency Episode: The Hottest UK Day Ever

Duration: 58 minutes

First broadcast:

Available for over a year

This wasn't the episode they'd planned to make! But after the heatwave messed up Deborah Meaden and Felicity Hannah's plans to meet up, they decided to make an emergency episode looking at whether the hot weather is being driven by climate change.

They look at just how unusual this heat is, to what extent businesses like farms are being affected andwhat we need to do to the UK’s infrastructure if these extreme weather events keep happening. Also, can we build better homes and offices to protect us from heat and flooding caused by climate change?
And should we really be buying air conditioning units to help us through it?

Deborah and Fliss love it when listeners get in touch. If you've got a question you'd like one of our experts to answer, or you just want to tell us what you think of the show, email GreenMoney@bbc.co.uk or use #GreenMoneyShow on Twitter.
