This morning their guest is Dr Ranj Singh, paediatrician and popular TV doctor. Dr Ranj has a new picture book A Superpower Like Mine, which aims to help children aged 3-5 discover their own superpowers and celebrate the power to be themselves. Dr Ranj tells Kate and Jason about how best to encourage children to see the best in others and themselves.

Also, Gemma Hunt joins to chat about her first children's book, A Good Friend, a mixed-race retelling of the stories of Jesus. Gemma, who rose to fame on CBBC in 2002 and starred in the hit series Swashbuckle, wrote the book for her own daughter – who has a mixed-race mother (Gemma), a white father, a black grandmother and a white grandfather – so that she could see a family like her own reflected in the books she read.
