Skye duo Valtos launch their debut album & Anna Massie has the Official Folk Album Chart

Electro-trad duo Valtos are live on Travelling Folk to launch their ground breaking self-titled debut album, which will be available from Friday 10th June. The record from the Skye-based pair is a “love letter to the Highlands, islands and Gaelic community” and breaks the mould with a unique and innovative genre-bending sound. Valtos members Martyn MacDonald and Daniel Docherty join Anna to chat about folktronica and the inspiration they draw from the rich traditional music and stunning beauty of Skye. 

Plus Anna has the Official Folk Album Chart with new entries from Heidi Talbot and Kate Rusby.
