Today, Mattiel Brown and Jonah Swilley of Atlanta band Mattiel join Mark and Stuart to chat about their latest album and tour.

Mattiel and Jonah formed the band in Atlanta, Georgia and released their debut album in 2017. As they head out on tour following the release of their third album, ‘Georgia Gothic’, the duo talk to Mark and Stuart about how their latest music came together. The album - which includes 6 Music-playlisted singles ‘Lighthouse’ and ‘Jeff Goldblum’ - was recorded in a secluded woodland cabin in the north of Atlanta.

Also on the show... long-running feature ‘The Chain’, which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8000 songs.

With a selection of music old and new to get the weekend started including tracks from Kate Bush, Anna Calvi, The Libertines, Idris Muhammad, Khruangbin, Belle And Sebastian, X-Ray Spex and Lady Blackbird.
