The team create a BBQ-friendly, brightly planted, Hindu-inspired garden in Milton Keynes.

This time, Charlie Dimmock and brothers Harry and David Rich are in Milton Keynes to create a BBQ-friendly, brightly planted, Hindu-inspired garden for Vinay and Raunak.

In this episode, Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers, Harry and David, are in Milton Keynes, to create a colourful, social space for Vinay and Raunak. Vinay loves to cook, and hosting barbecues and knocking up his signature mojitos are what makes him happy. He is after a garden where he can do all that in style, with a large outdoor family dining table for everyone to gather around. Meanwhile, his wife Raunak is more interested in filling the garden with vivid and dramatic colours, to match the style of decor she has used throughout their house. The couple do come together on one important request for the garden though - both are Hindu and want the garden to represent their religion’s belief in the power and importance of nature. So, high on their wish list are a water feature and statues of important Hindu deities. Can Charlie, Harry and David come up with a pair of designs that create Vinay and Raunak’s dream garden?

Not for the first time, they take very different approaches. The brothers want to create a series of low walls, naturally dyed in colours that capture Vinay’s love of spices,  juniper, turmeric and saffron. Charlie, on the other hand, wants to create a dramatic avenue, complete with  water feature, that runs the length of the garden to a rear dining patio. So, whose design will Vinay and Raunak pick and, with the clock running, can the team make create the couple’s chosen BBQ-friendly, brightly planted, Hindu-inspired garden?
