Seonaid Aitken looks ahead to World Health Day which takes place this week and contemplates this year’s theme of ‘Our Planet/Our Health’. Plus session music from pianist Fergus McCreadie and his trio, who’ll be playing selections from their brand new album  ‘Forest Floor’. Richard Michael opens another chapter of his Song Book, this week celebrating the voice of Doris Day who would have turned 100 this month. Plus music from some of this year’s Oscar winning films including Steven Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story and American drummer / DJ Questlove’s music documentary Summer of Love shot at the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival which captured performances by Nina Simone, The Staple Singers and Sly & The Family Stone.
