Among the live performances is an acoustic set from singer, songwriter and Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys. There's also live music from Art School Girlfriend AKA Polly Mackey, a dream-pop singer-songwriter-producer from Wrexham.

Stuart chats to Scritti Politti frontman Green Gartside live from 6 Music's festival stage at Tramshed, as part of the festival's 'in conversation' line up. 

Plus Stuart is joined for a chat by a host of guests including Smiths-founder and guitar legend Johnny Marr, journalist and broadcaster Jon Ronson, Welsh singer,songwriter and harpist Georgia Ruth and Texas trio Khruangbin.

There are also highlights from the previous days' live performances including music from Emma-Jean Thackary, Bloc Party, Ezra Collective, Ibibio Sound Machine, Orlando Weeks, Lucy Dacus and Obongjayar. 

The 6 Music Festival takes place from Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd April and features live performances, DJ sets, Q&A sessions and more across multiple venues in Wales’ capital city, including St. David’s Hall, The Great Hall and Y Plas in Cardiff University Students’ Union, and Tramshed.
