Freeze returns to complete the boxset, charting the highs and lows of a climactic end to the season as our cast of skaters vie to be crowned British champions and to earn coveted places at the Olympic Games. Lifelong dreams are in the balance.

Close friends off the ice and rivals on it, skaters Emily and Eleanor have a second chance to qualify for the British Championships. Returning to the ice after suffering a head injury, Emily has her work cut out to win a spot at the biggest event in UK skating. To earn a place, she will need to finish in the top ten of all women skaters in Britain. But time off the ice recuperating means she has little time to get match fit. Coach Helen is with Emily every step of the way, but fate has a few twists in store before competition day.

Sheffield skater Eleanor recently stepped up to the big league of senior skating and is desperate to show she deserves to compete against the best in in Britain. But a botched performance at the last qualifier hit her confidence and left her determined to show the judges she has what it takes to skate among the elite.

Fourteen-year-old advanced novice Rene may be in the little-league of skaters, but that doesn’t stop him dreaming big. The Manchester skater has shown that he is more than a Saturday morning hobbyist, but until he can nail the triple jumps, including the pesky triple toe, he won’t be taken seriously by the judges. At the upcoming qualifiers, Rene has to finish in the top eight of boys from his category, but confidence is in no short supply for this ambitious teenager. Show less
