Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy enjoys a grand tour across six European countries or regions to discover - via a mix of the obvious and the obscure - the influence their music and creativity has had on the rest of the world.
In an era where travel has been limited - this show encourages escapism - music working with our imagination to take us on hour long adventures across the entire continent.

On episode 5, Neil centres in Germany – though inevitably Austria and other nearby countries also contribute. Kraftwerk and Can are obvious inclusions – but how many of us know much about Hildegard Knef, Wir Sind Helden and Falco? It’s not all obscurities though – listen out for a little Boney M in there also. The final – and arguably most musically curious edition of the series.
