Grant Stott finds out about a play that looks at the tragic life of Lena Zavaroni

Grant Stott chats to Jon Culshaw who stars as Hughie Green in a play that looks at the tragic life of child star Lena Zavaroni.

Grant talks to Ben Aitken about his book The Marmalade Diaries: The True Story of an Odd Couple which charts the story of recently widowed, Winnie, 84, who was in need of some companionship, someone to help with the weekly food shop and tips on the crossword. 34 year old Ben was looking for a new housemate so they moved in together and an unlikely friendship blossomed.

Grant hears from BAFTA and Olivier award-winning writer Tim Whitnall and actors Jon Culshaw and Erin Armstrong who star in Lena, an original play about tragic Scots child star Lena Zavaroni which is to be given a world premiere in Greenock, the town where she was born. 

And in the film hour, movie critics Anna Smith and Amber Wilkinson give their thoughts on American comedy Red Rocket, observational documentary Young Plato set in post conflict Belfast and horror film A Banquet.
