Students from Newcastle University take on their professors in the upbeat quiz.

Steve Punt hosts the battle of wits as students from Newcastle University take on their professors. From June 2018.

Steve Punt's funny and dynamic academic quiz show comes from Newcastle University.

Three Undergraduates take on three of their Professors.

Specialist subjects include Physiological Sciences, Sociology and Media and Communication.

Questions range from Bach and benzene rings to Mills and Boon and Mick Jagger.

Recorded on location at a different University each week, the rounds vary between Specialist Subjects and General Knowledge, plus quickfire bell-and-buzzer rounds.

The Highbrow and Lowbrow round is cunningly devised to test not only the students' knowledge of current affairs, history, languages and science, but also their Professors' awareness of TV, sport, and quite possibly Justin Bieber.

In addition, the Head-to-Head rounds see students take on their Professors in their own subjects, offering plenty of scope for mild embarrassment on both sides.
