Janice broadcasts live from Paisley Wynd Centre ahead of the About Us multimedia spectacle with conversation from Project Director Lysander Ashton and Unboxed 2022's Martin Green.

Janice Forsyth broadcasts live from Paisley as we take The Afternoon Show listeners behind the scenes of the launch of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of creativity taking place across the UK in 2022. 

Chief Creative Officer of Unboxed 2022, Head of Ceremonies at the 2012 Olympics Martin Green tells us about the events taking place in Paisley and all around the UK throughout the year. 
 
We learn all about launch event About Us from Project Director LYSANDER ASHTON of 59 Productions. 

DJ, composer, broadcaster, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nitin Sawhney talks about composing a score for the ABOUT US event to be performed by three live local choirs. 

The 'face of space' Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock joins us live from a train on the way to Paisley Abbey to tell us why she is so passionate about encouraging people around the UK to engage with science and the arts through UNBOXED 2022: Creativity in the UK. 

Janice will discover how poetry and coding skills from some of Scotland’s young people are being featured as part of the event from Anne-Marie Imafidon of the Stemettes and Fiona Palmer of the Poetry Society, and 13 year old Luke from George Heriot's school tells us about winning a competition to have his avatar featured as part of the ABOUT US multimedia display on Paisley Abbey. 

Plus our Tuesday Review team Stuart Cosgrove and author Kirstin Innes travel to Paisley Abbey to join Janice to review the new ITV IPCRESS FILES drama, Amy Liptrot’s memoir THE INSTANT, and the final series of KILLING EVE.
