But did you know there are over 100 varieties?  This week on Gardeners’ Corner, David Maxwell chats to herb expert Jekka McVicar who has been putting the popular herb through its paces for the RHS.  Also on the programme, David meets up with the new head gardener at the National Trust’s Springhill in Moneymore.  Adam McCappin swapped a career in programming for pruning and is loving the new outdoor office!  Tony Kirkham introduces the Persian Ironwood as his tree of the month and the prickly problem of porcupines in the garden for one listener.
