The People’s Party is throwing it back to 2002 in celebration of 6 Music 20th Birthday. All of the show's music was released during the year 6 Music was born, and our People’s Party Selector has picked two tracks that remind him of the summer of 2002. Expect to hear some Kylie, The White Stripes, and Moby. Marc Riley stops by to chat about his favourite 6 Music live sessions, including one that Afrodeutsche did back in 2008 as part of The Sisters of Transistors band. German electronic DJ, Ellen Allien, is in the mix for The Phones Down Finale with a selection of early noughties dance tunes to get you ready for the weekend.
