Bill Forsyth’s black comedy about a radio DJ who tries to settle the long-standing dispute between two Italian gangsters over the future of the lucrative ice cream market.

Bill Forsyth’s black comedy starring Bill Paterson as Alan Bird, a successful radio DJ whose life seems pretty well-ordered until his girlfriend dumps him just before Christmas. With Alan now feeling lost and alone, he inadvertently stumbles into the middle of a feud between two Italian gangsters over the future of the lucrative ice cream market. Alan decides to try to settle the long-standing dispute.
