Find out with Stephen Broad as he explores the music commissioned in the 1900s by the ‘Princesse’ aka Winnie Singer and her life as patron of the arts.  Stephen’s guest tonight is South Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son, making her debut this month with the BBC Scottish Symphony orchestra with a performance of Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Piano Concerto.  Plus, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor features in our Album of the Week; a survey of his orchestral works including Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast, the piece that made him internationally famous overnight.
