Our reporter Shari Vahl brings you an exclusive investigation into a massive fraud on Instagram that spread between a network of teenage boys, robbing them of thousands of pounds

The parent Company of Instagram , Meta, is being accused of enabling a major fraud, which has left dozens of people in just one UK county scammed out of tens of thousands of pounds. All the victims are friends of one 19 year man. One of them lost money left to him by his late mother. Hear this exclusive investigation by our reporter Shari Vahl. 

There's lots of hype around airfryers, which are seen as the healthy way to get the results you'd see in a deep fat fryer - but do they live up the claims? Guardian Food writer Felicity Cloake tells us what happened when she road tested one this week and hear from chef and airfryer convert Zosima Fulwell 

We'll tell you the story of the gang who tricked homeowners out of 800 thousands pounds by pretending to be a building company who did extensions. They took the deposits, but never laid a brick and tricked their victims with a fake show home they claimed they'd done the work on.

The number of empty shops has come down from the first time since 2018. That's according to figures from the British Retail Consortium. But problems persist in the North East where one in five shops are vacant. Peter talks to the BRC and shopkeepers in Newcastle and Billingham.
