Eagrán speisialta de Ón Taobhlíne le comóradh a dhéanamh ar 50 bliain ó cealaíodh an Cosc ar chluichí eachtracha, ag Comhdháil Chumann Lúthchleas Gael i mBéal Feirste ar 10 Aibreán 1971. I dteannta Fhearghail Mhig Uiginn, le mionscagadh a dhéanamh ar chomhthéacs polaitiúil, spóirt agus sóisialta an Choisc, tá na staraithe Paul Rouse agus Dónal Mac An Ailín. Agus cluinimid fosta ó Phil Stuart, an fear a bhí i bhfeidhil fhoireann Naomh Malachi nuair a dúradh leo nach raibh cead acu Cluiche Ceannais Chorn Mhic Ruairí a imirt i bPáirc Mhic Easmainn, toisc go raibh imreoir sacair acu ar an fhoireann: Martin O’Neill.

A special edition to mark the 50th anniversary of the deletion of the Ban on so-called Foreign Games from the GAA's Rule Book. Fearghal Mag Uiginn and historians Paul Rouse and Dónal Mac An Ailín discuss the political, sporting and social context of the Ban, and the forces of change which eventually led to its abolition at the GAA’s Annual Congress in Belfast on April 10th 1971. We also hear from Phil Stuart. He coached the St Malachy’s team who earlier that year were told they could not play the MacRory Cup Final at Casement Park, due to one of their most talented players being known to have dabbled in soccer; that player was none other than a teenage Martin O’Neill.
