BBC One - A Dog's Journey

An old dog promises his owner that he will always be there to protect his granddaughter.

Bailey, an old St Bernard dog, is approaching the end of his life, but he promises his owner Ethan that he will always be there to protect Ethan's granddaughter CJ.

Bailey, an old St Bernard dog, lives happily with his owners, Ethan and Hannah. Their daughter-in-law Gloria is living with them and their baby granddaughter CJ after the death of their only son in a car crash. Bailey is aware of the tensions in the family, and as his soul prepares to leave this life for a new one, he promises Ethan that he will always be there to protect CJ.
